WRC dismisses Leon O'Connor's equality complaint as misconceived

The Workplace Relations Commission dismissed Leon O'Connor's religious discrimination complaint against Sse Airtricity Limited (ROI) Sse Airtricity Electricity as misconceived in a decision dated 28 November 2023. The complaint concerned an application for a job with the company. O'Connor alleged discrimination on religious grounds. The company said his application materials did not refer to his religious beliefs and that he lacked the experience required for the role.
