The Workplace Relations Commission found Dora Koszo’s constructive-dismissal complaint against Mm Fiber Packaging Ireland Ltd. not well founded. Koszo said she resigned after a proposed move to a weekend shift was withdrawn. The officer found the weekend-shift offer had been made, but the employer later determined that no additional role was available and proposed other shift and parental-leave arrangements. The decision, dated 16 January 2024, said the employer’s conduct did not meet the legal threshold for constructive dismissal. The officer noted that Koszo had not used the grievance procedure, while finding that the employer knew of the issue and had actively engaged with her. The officer also noted that she had been paid two weeks’ notice at her request.
