The Workplace Relations Commission awarded Patrick Hill €250 after finding that Ger Conroy, Fitness Ltd t/a Fitcore breached his right to receive written terms of employment on time. Adjudication Officer Michael McEntee dated the decision 27 March 2025. Hill said he received a proper contract only in mid-2019, about two years after starting work. The company accepted deficiencies in the contract but argued he suffered no detriment. The WRC upheld the complaint over the late contract and rejected his complaint that he had not been told about a pension change, finding the company was implementing a Government provision.
