The Workplace Relations Commission ordered Hazel Boshell, trading as Tresses and Talons, to pay Vicky Gregory €198.24 after finding commission had been left out of one holiday payment. The decision was dated 19 January 2024. Gregory, a senior stylist, said workplace problems after she queried holiday pay left her with no option but to resign. The employer disputed that account and said she had left to work at another salon. The WRC found her constructive unfair dismissal complaint was not well founded, saying she had not pursued a grievance the employer was willing to process. It also found her annual leave hours had been correctly calculated.
