The Workplace Relations Commission found that Susan O Neill was not discriminated against when her request for leave of absence was refused. The decision was dated 11 July 2024. O Neill said two male colleagues had previously received leave of absence. The employer said the refusal arose from an internal review of roles. The adjudicator found insufficient evidence that the refusal was because of disability or gender and concluded that the complaint was not well founded.
