The Workplace Relations Commission found Angela Birch’s complaint against Star Project Ballymun under the transfer of undertakings rules not well founded. The decision was dated 13 December 2023. Birch began working for Star as a youth worker in January 2022. Her submission said the complaint would be pursued only if her separate redundancy complaint succeeded. Star said it had been informed that no transfer of employees under the rules had taken place. The WRC decision addressed only the complaint against Star.
