The Workplace Relations Commission found Matheus Bonora Gamez’s three complaints against Oscar Foods / Dorian not well founded after he did not attend the hearing. In a decision dated 9 March 2023, the adjudicator noted that the respondent also did not attend and that no explanation was received for Gamez’s absence. The merits were not decided. The complaints concerned payment of wages and two claims under working-time law. The WRC recorded that Gamez had engaged with it about a possible hearing and found written notice of the hearing had been sent to the email address on his complaint form.
