The WRC found a childcare worker’s unfair-dismissal complaint was not well founded after a childcare provider dismissed her over alleged misconduct involving children in its care. The worker disputed the allegations and challenged the disciplinary process, including that she was not told she could bring someone to meetings. The adjudication officer found that failure was a mistake but did not change the outcome. The officer found the dismissal was not unfair.
