The Workplace Relations Commission ordered Card Factory Republic of Ireland Limited to pay former retail assistant Rebeca Mihutescu €317.52 in unpaid wages. The decision was dated 9 August 2022. Mihutescu said she had not received full payment for the hours she worked in December 2020. The company accepted that wages remained due and said only one of three attempted transfers had gone through. The adjudication officer found that both sides agreed she had not been fully paid and that the shortfall was an illegal deduction from wages properly payable.
