WRC dismisses two discrimination complaints against government department

The WRC dismissed two complaints alleging race discrimination, harassment and victimisation against a government department, in a decision dated 13 October 2022. The complainant said one case concerned documents filed before the High Court and the other an email exchange with the courts about hearing dates. Adjudication Officer Úna Glazier-Farmer found no link between the complainant and the department in either complaint. She also found both claims frivolous or vexatious and dismissed them under section 22 of the Equal Status Act.
