The Workplace Relations Commission found five complaints by plumber Anthony Shanahan against Thermopro Ltd not well founded after he did not attend the hearing. The decision was dated 2 March 2023; the merits were not decided. The claims concerned alleged breaches of a Sectoral Employment Order, unpaid wages and written employment terms. Shanahan alleged unpaid sums of €1,825.44, €576 and €153. Thermopro denied the allegations and argued that the claims were outside the time limit. The adjudication officer said the third claim was brought outside the time limit and was not well founded; the merits were not decided. Each of the other four complaints was also found not well founded after Shanahan did not attend.
