WRC rejects Andrei Masnic’s constructive dismissal complaint

The Workplace Relations Commission found Andrei Masnic was not unfairly dismissed by ISS Facility Services Limited after he resigned before the company completed its grievance process. The decision was dated 23 November 2021. Masnic said workplace treatment and the handling of his grievance led him to resign. The company acknowledged his five-page grievance but later sent a follow-up email to an incorrect address. The WRC found the company’s conduct was not unreasonable and that Masnic should have allowed the grievance process to finish before resigning.
