The Workplace Relations Commission found two of Patrick Igoe’s four complaints well founded and directed Tracematics Ltd. Trading as Rentalmatics to pay €1,000 on one and €100 on the other. The decision was dated 22 November 2021. Igoe, an engineer, said the company withheld bonuses due under his contract and had not explained how they would be calculated. The WRC found the company could withhold the company-performance bonus after suffering substantial losses during the pandemic, but found no justification for reducing Igoe’s personal-performance bonus. It also found the bonus terms lacked detail about how they would operate. His other two complaints were not well founded.
