WRC says Staff Officer’s back-pay complaint was outside time limit

The Workplace Relations Commission found it had no jurisdiction to hear a Staff Officer’s Payment of Wages complaint over back pay for Grade VI duties because it was filed outside the time limit; the merits were not decided. The decision was dated 7 August 2019. The complainant said she had performed Grade VI duties without the corresponding pay and sought back pay from 2014. The Health Service Provider said her regrading took effect in January 2019.
