The Workplace Relations Commission rejected a health care worker’s request for a €3,000 contribution to costs in a dispute about an investigation at a care home. Adjudication officer Michael McEntee dated the recommendation 26 April 2018. The worker said the care home had prolonged the process, causing unnecessary work and costs. The care home said procedural issues had largely been resolved and an investigation process agreed. The WRC said the independent investigation had not yet begun and recommended no payment for costs or expenses.
