The WRC dismissed an investigation specialist’s unfair-dismissal claim for want of prosecution after neither she nor the customer service company attended the hearing. The decision was dated 5 April 2017; the merits were not decided. The woman said she wanted to contest her dismissal. The company had said she had not passed her probationary period. Both parties had notice of the hearing but neither contacted the WRC about their absence.
