The Workplace Relations Commission found ten wage complaints by a kitchen porter against a restaurant were not well founded. The decision was dated 15 May 2017. The complainant said he had worked various shifts but received half pay for several and no pay for two. The restaurant said he had no PPS number or bank account, was paid in cash under emergency tax and received all sums properly due. The adjudication officer said the tax issue was a matter for Revenue and found the restaurant had no case to answer.
