The Labour Court upheld the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union’s appeal and decided Puresafe Limited must pay an unnamed cleaner the travel allowance due for her employment. The Court was not satisfied that the allowance required under the Employment Regulation Order had been paid. It dated its decision 30 October 1991. A Rights Commissioner had recommended £150 in full and final settlement, but the Labour Court stated no amount for the allowance.
