The Labour Court upheld a recommendation that Praxis Care offer a worker sick pay and maternity pay. It also recommended placing her at point 4 on the Team Leader - Staff Nurse Pay Scale, then €36,666 a year, and retaining Sunday double time and a €14 allowance for rostered Saturday shifts. The decision was signed on 21 July 2010. The dispute concerned terms offered for a Team Leader role. The union said pay had traditionally been aligned with HSE rates and that the worker should be treated like other Team Leaders. Praxis Care did not attend the hearing.
