The Labour Court disallowed a medical doctor’s appeal seeking another investigation into his 2003 suspension by the Health Service Executive - Dublin North East. The decision was signed on 31 July 2009. The Court said three earlier investigations had vindicated the worker and found the HSE had acted wrongly. It agreed with the Rights Commissioner that another investigation was not warranted, finding the worker had received full and adequate redress. Recommendations for a senior clinician mediator and to address superannuation issues had been accepted by both sides.
