The Labour Court upheld a €1,000 compensation recommendation for a worker at the Central Remedial Clinic on its appeal, in a decision dated 25 November 2003. The worker said the clinic had not followed grievance and disciplinary procedures and had extended his probation without consulting him. The clinic cited performance concerns and denied obstructing his complaints. The Court found he had some cause for complaint about the extension and was not fully satisfied he had an adequate chance to answer the performance issues. It did not reduce the compensation.
