Wojciech Bialek was restrained by a temporary High Court injunction on 14 July 2023, after the judge heard the application that Friday evening. The order bars him from removing or copying the charity’s documents, transferring its funds, entering its property or representing himself as its employee, trustee or chairperson.
The injunction was granted to Together-Razem Centre Company Limited by Guarantee, a Cork charity that supports Ukrainian refugees and other immigrants. The judge said recent events at the charity appeared “chaotic”.
The charity alleged that Bialek had resigned as chief executive earlier that year, then took control of its offices after a disputed meeting purported to replace the board. The charity said it feared records could be altered or removed; those claims were allegations in its application.
The temporary order was due to remain in place until the matter returned to court on Monday.
