Sinead O’Farrell’s children resume Fingallians GAA activities

Sinead and Jason O’Farrell’s children were able to resume their normal activities at Fingallians GAA club in Swords after a High Court dispute was settled on 17 February 2023.

The proceedings, brought by Ms O’Farrell on behalf of her four children, were struck out after the parties reached an agreement. The dispute concerned claims that the children had been excluded from the club; the club said they were welcome to participate.

The injunction hearing had been due before Mr Justice Brian Cregan. After urging the parties to continue talks, he was told the case had settled and said he was glad they had resolved a difficult and sensitive matter.
