Lisa Smith’s appeal against her 15-month prison sentence for Islamic State membership was rejected by the Court of Appeal on 8 March 2023.

The court dismissed all grounds of appeal relating to the sentence. Smith’s lawyers said after the judgment that they wanted to appeal her conviction, and her case was due to be mentioned again on 24 March.
