Frank McNamara and Theresa Lowe had personal insolvency arrangements approved by the High Court on 2 March 2020, allowing a near-€3m debt write-off. The arrangements were opposed by Tanager DAC and followed the couple’s insolvency process since 2016.
Mr Justice Denis McDonald said he was proposing to confirm the arrangements subject to confirmation that the estate of McNamara’s late father would be administered and its assets realised within a relatively short period. The arrangements would allow the couple to retain their family home in Dunshaughlin, Co Meath, while continuing mortgage payments to Tanager.
