Eoin O’Sullivan was jailed for two and a half years for endangerment and unlawful use of a stolen vehicle at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court. The proceedings were reported on 2 December 2015. On 24 November 2014, Garda Blaine Feely stopped O’Sullivan on the M50 at Santry. O’Sullivan drove away in the stolen van while the garda was partially inside it.
O’Sullivan had pleaded guilty to both offences on signed pleas. Judge Martin Nolan ordered the sentence to run consecutively to a term he was already serving, which was due to expire in 2018.
