This report is a localnews.ie summary based on public court reporting and records; sources are listed below.
Ekaette Kwuogor brought a High Court judicial review case against Maynooth University on 27 July 2020 over being refused graduation after Covid-19 disrupted her teaching practice. She said the university had not decided her appeal against that decision.
The court was told that Ms Kwuogor, a Higher Diploma in Further Education student, could not complete her placement after schools closed. She sought orders requiring the university to decide her appeal and provide a timeframe for finalising it.
Mr Justice Charles Meenan directed that the application be made on notice to the university and returned the matter later that week.
