Eamon Keogh loses injunction bid in HSE software dispute

By Niamh Kearney

This report is a localnews.ie summary based on public court reporting and records; sources are listed below.

Eamon Keogh, trading as Keogh Software, lost interlocutory injunction applications in the High Court on 15 July 2009 in a contractual software-support dispute with the HSE.

The HSE had sought orders requiring support and maintenance for systems used at about 180 sites, while Keogh sought orders concerning fees, invoices and software escrow arrangements.

The court refused both applications and stayed issues arising from the HSE’s amended claim pending the dispute-resolution procedures in the escrow agreements.

This report covers an earlier stage of the case. Later developments are not reported here.
