David Allen pleaded guilty to two robberies at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court, reported on 5 February 2020. The offences occurred at Aungier Street on 1 July 2019 and James Street on 5 February 2019. He was on bail for the James Street robbery when he robbed Nina MacAuley, 89, of her handbag after knocking her to the ground in Dublin city centre.
