By Fionn Kelly

This report is a localnews.ie summary based on public court reporting and records; sources are listed below.

Connor Rafferty, who was acquitted of Josip Strok’s murder, received a fully suspended four-year sentence for assault causing harm to David Druzinec. The judge said the suitable sentence was six years before taking account of Rafferty’s guilty plea, admissions to gardaí, remorse and personal changes, including starting an apprenticeship.

Rafferty was warned about strict conditions attached to the suspended sentence. Mark Lee and Anthony Delappe were serving life sentences for Strok’s murder, while Rafferty was allowed to leave court.
