A jury found Accused F guilty by majority verdict of raping his sister between 2007 and 2009. That verdict had been returned by 27 May 2026. The jury later said it could not agree on a verdict on a further rape count against him.
Accused F pleaded not guilty to the charges. The proceedings were reported on 10 June 2026, when the jury completed its work after almost 51 hours of deliberations over 14 days at the Central Criminal Court.
Four men were convicted in the trial. Accused B, an uncle of the main complainant, was found guilty of three counts of rape and one of anal rape against her between 2006 and 2014. Her brother, Accused E, was convicted of two counts of anally raping her between 2007 and 2009.
Another brother, Accused C, was convicted of six counts against the main complainant: three of rape, two of anal rape and one of sexual assault, committed between 2003 and 2010. He was also convicted of sexually assaulting a second sister between 2005 and 2006, raping her twice between 2015 and 2018, and anally raping a third sister between September 2010 and September 2014.
The jury could not agree on the remaining rape counts against Accused F and two uncles, Accused A and Accused G. The prosecution had withdrawn 83 of the original 103 charges, including all charges against another brother.
Ms Justice Caroline Biggs remanded the three convicted men present in court into custody until a sentence hearing the following month. Accused C was absent, and the judge issued a bench warrant for him. The other two men were remanded on the same terms pending prosecution directions on the unresolved counts. None of the parties can be named for legal reasons.
