The Labour Court upheld an appeal by Forbidden City Ltd. Trading As Translation.Ie and set aside a €2,000 unfair dismissal compensation award to Monika Nagle. The decision was dated 7 December 2023.
The adjudication officer had found Nagle’s complaint well founded. The Court was told the matter had been compromised and Nagle accepted she was not an employee of the company. She was not contesting the appeal, and the Court set aside the original decision.
