The Labour Court upheld a €7,500 compensation award to Declan Mills after finding Dublin Bus Ghost Bus unfairly dismissed him. The determination was signed on 15 November 2016.
Dublin Bus Ghost Bus argued Mills was not its employee and said performance concerns justified ending his work on the Ghost Bus tour. The Court found he was employed by the company and that it had not followed a clear procedure, given him an adequate chance to address the concerns or provided the appeal he requested.
