Labour Court finds James Beck Electrical Contractor liable for scheme arrears

The Labour Court decided that James Beck Electrical Contractor was liable for arrears to the pension, sick pay and mortality scheme from 5 November 2004, when the worker reached age 20. The Court said the parties should meet to agree a way to pay the amount due. The decision was dated 3 July 2007. The dispute was brought by the Technical, Engineering And Electrical Union under the Electrical Contracting Industry Registered Employment Agreement. The employer said it had not received an invoice and believed it was compliant.
