Labour Court recommends against conceding Crossmid worker’s claim

The Labour Court recommended that Crossmid Limited should not concede a worker’s claim concerning workplace incidents and her resignation. Its recommendation was signed on 14 September 2026. The worker said she reported workplace incidents, was unfairly assessed and resigned because she believed conditions were unsafe. She also asked the Court to consider constructive dismissal and harassment. Crossmid said it investigated the reported incidents, had procedures and training in place, and tried to engage with her after she resigned. The Court noted that the employer sought to address issues raised during her employment and invited her to meet after her resignation.
