The Labour Court found that workers represented by the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union (SIPTU) were not covered by a 2022 agreement providing for a €700 goodwill gesture. The recommendation was signed on 21 August 2023. SIPTU referred the complaint on behalf of 12 members, asking the Court to recommend that Musgraves Wholesale Partners pay the gesture. The Court found the agreement applied to hourly paid employees, while the workers in the complaint were salaried.
