Labour Court recommends An Garda Siochana worker resume grievance process

The Labour Court recommended that An Garda Siochana and a worker agree locally how to restart the worker’s grievance procedure in a dispute over lost pay and allowances. The recommendation was signed on 24 March 2023. The Court noted that a related Payment of Wages Act complaint was separately before the Workplace Relations Commission and that the agreed grievance process had produced no decision. It said the parties should use that process first to seek an outcome.
