The Labour Court recommended that KBC Bank and the Financial Services Union engage constructively on five employment issues raised by the union. The recommendation was signed on 9 February 2022. The issues were pension protection, retention payments, Covid recognition vouchers for workers who left in 2021, fixed-term contractors’ employment status and job security beyond 2022. The Court said KBC’s decision not to engage limited its ability to help resolve the dispute.
