The Labour Court recommended that Boots Ireland Ltd pay Lisa Ogilvie €450 as a goodwill gesture to settle a dispute over her performance rating. The determination was signed on 28 August 2019. The dispute concerned Ogilvie’s performance review for September 2016 to August 2017. The Court said her absence affected the review process and neither party was responsible for that impact. She received no bonus for the year; bonuses ranged from €772 to €1,159. The Court said Ogilvie’s presence only from 7 May 2017 until the end of the review year left little opportunity for interim reviews and improvement. It said it could not intervene in the performance assessment.
