The Labour Court recommended that CG Power Systems Ltd accept the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union’s pay offer, including three annual 2% increases from 2019 to 2021. The recommendation was signed on 9 January 2019. The Court also recommended payments of €500 per union member on acceptance and a further €500 each on 1 April 2020. It recommended retaining the existing profit-share scheme until an agreed replacement was in place, accepting a €300 Christmas bonus per person from 2019 and giving weekend workers a paid hour off on their last scheduled shift before Christmas.
