The Labour Court directed Gas Networks Ireland, trading as Ervia, to investigate a worker’s bullying and harassment complaints under its company policy. Its decision was signed on 14 March 2017 after the employer appealed an Adjudication Officer’s recommendation. The Court said the worker should cooperate with the investigation. The parties should try to agree on an independent investigator or ask the Court to nominate one. The decision set out an investigation process; it did not determine whether bullying or harassment occurred.
