The Labour Court recommended that three University College Cork posts be evaluated if the college reactivates its administrative grading process. The recommendation was signed on 21 November 2016. The Services Industrial Professional Technical Union sought an evaluation, arguing that the roles had evolved since they were graded in 2005. University College Cork said the claim could increase costs and lead to similar claims. The Court recommended evaluating the posts as soon as possible if the process resumes, taking account of the nature of the roles.
