Labour Court backs proposals to settle Lighthouse Team Leads dispute

The Labour Court recommended proposals worked through the Labour Relations Commission as a reasonable basis for settling a dispute over Lighthouse Team Leads posts at the Commissioners of Irish Lights. The recommendation was signed on 22 December 2014. The Irish Municipal, Public and Civil Trade Union sought overtime payments, an additional team lead to address workloads and an agreed rate of pay before the new post underwent a company-wide job evaluation. The Commissioners of Irish Lights said the posts should be considered as part of an independent review covering all jobs.
