The Labour Court found a former HSE West worker’s bullying claim was ill conceived and without merit, and recommended against it. The recommendation was signed on 17 June 2014. The worker, a retired general operative, said HSE West had failed to deal properly with bullying complaints raised during his employment. HSE West objected to a Rights Commissioner investigation because he was no longer an employee. The Court found he had not formally raised the matters while employed or arranged for them to be processed as part of his retirement terms.
