The Labour Court recommended that G & T Crampton Ltd concede the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union’s claim for enhanced redundancy terms for a former employee: two weeks’ pay per year of service plus statutory terms. The recommendation was signed on 26 June 2013. The Court said two colleagues made redundant at the same time had received those enhanced terms. It found the company’s explanation for treating the claimant differently did not justify the difference.
