Labour Court rejects worker’s claim over Intrum Justitia transfer

The Labour Court rejected a worker’s claim over the erosion of her employment terms after her transfer from Dun & Bradstreet Ireland to Intrum Justitia Ireland Ltd. It said the passage of time made it unreasonable for the employer to defend the claim and that it could not decide its merits; the merits were not decided. The recommendation was signed on 9 December 2011. The worker, represented by the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union, said her earnings and other employment conditions deteriorated after the transfer. Intrum Justitia Ireland Ltd said she had not been disadvantaged and that it had maintained her bonus.
