Labour Court recommends Arrabawn consider worker for re-employment

The Labour Court recommended that Arrabawn Co-Op Society consider a former worker for re-employment if a suitable vacancy arises. The recommendation was signed on 5 December 2011. The worker had taken early retirement expecting to receive pension benefits as well as redundancy payments. The decision says those benefits were not realised because of circumstances outside the control of both the worker and the Society. The union sought re-employment, and the Court considered its position reasonable.
