The Labour Court recommended that Debenhams Tallaght and Mandate hold discussions on Sunday working, with a view to reaching an agreement reflecting the company's current business realities. Mandate said seniority-based Sunday overtime had been an entitlement for workers transferred from Roches Stores. The company said many of the workers with that entitlement had left under a 2010 restructuring agreement and it wanted overtime allocated equitably across its stores. The recommendation was signed on 2 November 2011, with discussions to begin immediately and finish by 16 November.
