The Labour Court recommended that Celbridge District Credit Union Limited recognise Unite the Union for collective bargaining and that both sides meet to agree a framework for industrial-relations matters. Unite said it represented more than 80% of the staff; the Board preferred direct negotiations with employees. The Board did not attend the hearing but sent a written submission. The recommendation was signed on 22 November 2010.
