The Labour Court recommended that Bus Eireann admit part-time school bus drivers to the CIE Pension Scheme for Regular Wages Staff and the CIE Welfare Scheme for Regular Wages Staff. The recommendation was signed on 22 March 2010. The Services Industrial Professional Technical Union and NBRU also sought payment for school holiday lay-offs and compensation for earnings lost when rosters changed. The Court did not recommend conceding either claim, but said Bus Eireann had committed to giving drivers seven days' notice of changes in working hours.
